Happy New Year to you all!
2009 is set to be a full and exciting year for me. You'll see from the gig page (if I update it!) that there are a lot of dates in the diary, which give me the opportunity to work with some fantastic people AND showcase my brand new album which I am hoping will be available to buy from this Spring! woo hoo!
I am recording again in February in Scotland with Graeme Duffin and Sandy Jones and so far the music is sounding fantastic! I'll write a little bit more about the album soon, so that you have an idea of what to expect.
I am currently working with J John throughout January and February in Chorleywood. Please check out the link to find out more about these amazing events.
Please sign up to the mailing list if you would like information on upcoming gigs, and the new album.

Hi everyone!
Sorry not to let you all know what happened at the Indy Awards! I have been CRAZY busy! Anyway here goes..
It was a great night, but I didn't win the award, although being there in the final 54 was such a massive priviledge!
Thank you so much to all of you who came along, and although there was no award, I was reminded by SEB Collective that winning was being nomindated, and the award just icing on the cake! Nice! Thank you to all of you for giving me the cake!
I've been busy gigging, and travelling loads this last week or two. I just attended Hillsong Colour Conference at the Royal Albert Hall for the last two days and it was FANTASTIC!
I am planning a recording that will be ready hopefully by Autumn for the general public! It's time I put some of the songs I've been performing for the last couple of years down!
So, there's a bit of writing going on, more gigs planned for the summer and the Autumn. That's all...I think I should probably say more about atristic stuff...but i'll do that another day.
Love ya'll, thank you for supporting me and being my friends!

NEWS UPDATE
Nicki now teaches two days a week in London. There are no more lessons being taught in Milton Keynes. For bookings please contact Nicki on: 07766148802
Nicki Rogers specialises in extending and strengthening your vocal range, and ensuring that you as a singer stay in optimum vocal health. Combining various methods including; forward placement technique, performance and confidence boosting exercises, and speech level singing. Some of the more technical aspects may sound baffling at first but Nicki puts them into a context that is easy to understand and that can be quickly applied to your voice. You will see results straight away.
Nicki Rogers is an accomplished singer songwriter, who by the tender age of 26 already had two critically acclaimed solo albums out. Colour Scheme (2003, Authentic Records) created a significant impact in the Gospel music industry and was followed up by her second album Feeder Lane (2004, Authentic Records)
“I had been singing from an early age, but the jump from singing Tiffany in the shower, to performing your own material in front of thousands can be an overwhelming experience. I believe with good training and technique you can begin to perfect and achieve whatever goals you set your mind to, whether it’s recording an album or a local karaoke competition.”
As a singer in US pop act SHINE, Nicki has sung all over the world. She has worked alongside noted vocal trainers, such as Natasha Andrews (Chicane, Will Young, Madonna, Diana Ross) and teaches vocal practices inspired by TV’s Carrie and David. Grant. She’s also provided backing vocals for a number of artists both on stage and on screen. As a qualified life coach (Achievement specialists) Nicki is just as passionate that her clients realise their whole creative potential alongside their singing abilities.
“Singing is a way of expressing who you really are and it can tell your story and the story of others. If we truly discover what we’re capable of, who knows what can happen. My aim for you is that you feel truly comfortable, relaxed, and encouraged to explore your voice.”
Hi everyone! I've been busy writing new material with Jamie Duffin a fantastic writer and producer from Glasgow. I also am currently co-writing with some other fantastic writers from London and am collecting new and exciting material for my next recording. Not sure exactly when or how this recording will come about but I'm hopeful that 2008 will see the best work I've done so far!
London is crazy! You can be rushed off your feet all week, and then realise that you've done nothing of much use! Apart from getting knocked off your feet onto your luggage at the barriers in Euston station, eating a mint from the pub table and realising it's your mates sleeping tablet, reading Harry Potter for 5 hours and missing your appointment with the dentist..life in London is great! I love the creative energy here.
I've been overwhelmed by the support of Soho Revue and SEB collective who nominated me for the Indy Award! Please please please go to www.indyawards.co.uk and vote for me! Tell your frinds!
There are some great gigs coming up and I'm doing my best to update this FANTASTIC site! Thanks Anthony!
I'll be writing more often now..maybe I could set up a blog for all the embarrassing things that happen to me every week? Please..if you have any stories to outdo me, blog them on the site! Hope to see you all at some gigs this month! Nicki x
